The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was a music enthusiast and studied clarinet as well as piano and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre program at the school. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp's first focus was the stage. She performed in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight roles on the interactive comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp was Abyssinia and Aida on stage, in addition. In addition to her work both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she has written or co-written. An entire recording is in the works. Sharp also continues to sing. Sharp is an avid fitness fan who enjoys boxing and learn Krav Maga. When not being in front or behind of the camera or making songs in the studio, she enjoys long journeys, playing piano and hiking. Sharp reside in Los Angeles, California with her family.
