Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American as well as a Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. Her music is classified as folk rock and alternative rock although it has additional influences from punk funk hiphop and jazz. Ani diFranco was the first person to create her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd 1970. She is the daughter Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who become acquainted while at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is of Italian origin, while her mother is from Montreal. Ani diFranco wrote and sang the track 32 Flavors. The track was first released on DiFranco's 1995 sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl. Another version of the song appears on the film soundtrack of the 1999 Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized to host a seminar in Louisiana in an old slave plantation. Though she was able to pull the workshop out however, a lot of people (including the author of this article) were not able to feel regret.
