April Bowlby

April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and performer. The actress is famous for her roles as Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva, and Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known as Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. After starting her career as a model, she then moved to television and film. She made her first appearance on a small screen, as an extra in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This was followed by appearances in individual episodes of other series. In Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby is well-known around all over the world due to the character she played Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva. In the American Web Series Titans in which she starred, she was the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. In a spin-off show that will be called Doom Patrol, she will take on the role. Bowlby is also famous by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) as well as The Wrong Daughter. After her roles as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut film) as well as From Prada, to Nada she debuted on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California when she was a young girl and went to East Union High School. Following her studies in ballet and French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She took Drama classes alongside Ivana Chobbuck. She was offered the lead role in an upcoming TV show (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) just a few months following her Hollywood audition. Bowlby has appeared as a guest on a number of TV series like CSI: NY featuring Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. In addition, she starred as Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby's most recent role was Natasha as a 12 year old girl who lost her mother to the result of an accident in her car. Bowlby has a role as Mia in the film The Slammin Salmon. Los Angeles is her home. Her hair is naturally red and blue eyes. She was never married, and has no children.
