Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the title of world champion for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as a six-year-old in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite gymnastics in the year 2011. She dominated her sport just two years later. Biles made headlines because of her unstoppable performance enthusiasm and level of challenge she made every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam and ground work.
